The McNeill "HEXA-DITCH" is a common wall oxidation ditch type plant, which operates in the Extended Aeration Process. The "HEXA-DITCH" differs from the typical oxidation ditch as follows:

• The "HEXA-DITCH" is constructed of poured in place concrete utilizing common wall design. This feature reduces the cost of concrete and interconnecting piping between the tanks.
• The "HEXA-DITCH" design can provide built-in surge capacity utilizing variable speed floating aerotors, constructed of stainless steel.

• The "HEXA-DITCH" saves up to 70% of energy cost compared to other type plants.

• The "HEXA-DITCH" design is easily expandable at less cost than plants not utilizing common wall construction.

• The "HEXA-DITCH" has the following additional features: All weirs, baffles, flow control boxes, stairs and handrails are constructed of structural aluminum with stainless steel bolts and hardware. All piping is concealed within the concrete intersections of the structure.
